24/7 Helpline Alzheimer’s Association Help Hotline

Family members / Caregivers can call anytime to receive information, support and referrals to local programs and services. Callers who are in crisis are triaged to our free, confidential care consultation provided by master’s level clinicians. The 24/7 Helpline also has a language translation service. 1.800.272.3900
The Alzheimer’s Association works on a global, national and local level to enhance care and support for all those affected by Alzheimer’s and related dementia’s.

How to Apply for Services

The individual needing services or someone acting on the individual’s behalf can call the Intake Line at 704-862-7540 to request assistance. Requests for assistance can also be made in person at the Adult and Aging Services Division of the Department of Social Services, 330 N. Marietta St., Gastonia, North Carolina.
