Payment Terms

How to pay:

Stress Free Home Care works with a variety of payer sources to ensure that your homecare needs are covered.

Home Care Payment Sources Include:

Long-Term Care:

Long-Term Care Insurance (LTC) can assist individuals who can no longer care for themselves.

Private Pay:

Stress Free Home Care works with patients and their families to provide home care services on a private pay or self-pay basis. Sometimes private pay becomes necessary for non-medical care services that are not covered by insurances or third party payer sources.

Workers’ Compensation:

If you or a loved one has been injured on the job, workers’ compensation can help pay for medically necessary in-home treatment and care of your injuries. Stress Free works to ensure that you receive proper care in order to achieve the best possible outcomes and promote a safe return to work.

Veterans Aid:

The Veterans Aid and Attendance program, provided by the Veterans Administration, offers benefits for veterans and surviving spouses who require assistance with daily living activities. Stress Free Home Care is able to work with patients and their families to verify eligibility of pension benefits from the Veterans Administration.

Gaston County DSS Department of Aging:

A Gaston county DSS Social Worker assesses needs and links individuals with the most appropriate service. The intake process begins with an inquiry from a prospective client, family member, a member of the community, or an agency. The Intake Unit Social Workers are knowledgeable about not only services provided directly by the Adult and Aging Services Section, but those of other community agencies. An Intake Social Worker is available during hours of operation, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to talk with any individual who either comes into the office with questions or calls on the phone. To speak with an Intake Social Worker, call 704-862-7540.
